Who will you vote for Today? Tomorrow the election will all be over, and the media will find something else to talk about. That is as long as we do not have a repeat of the 2000 election, then we will never stop hearing about it. Of course I am sure no matter what happens we will hear still hear about it in a historical context since this is, as most everyone knows by now, it is an election of firsts.

If the Republicans win it will be two firsts the first man over 70 elected president which will make John McCain the oldest president every to be elected (the current oldest man elected President was Ronald Regan at age 69), and the first woman Vice President. If the Democrats win it will Barack Obama will be the first Black or Mulatto (I think the more Politically correct term may be biracial, although I think both of the terms are kind of ambiguous terms. So please forgive me if you consider this a racist term or something, because I do not mean it as such; I am just at lost for a appropriately descriptive term.) Whatever race he is technically considered Barack Obama will be the first person from his ethic background elected president. While many may say that it is a big step to elect a Black president, I do not believe that the color of their skin will make the difference. After all Abrham Lincoln was a white President and saw fit to free slaves and empower Blacks, by going against the sentiment of the day. Accordingly we to select a President based on values, and if that is Barack Obama for you so be, and if it is John McCain for you so be it. I believe race and age should not even be a secondary factor here, lets vote or for against a person because of who they are and what they have done. Not because they are “too old”, “too black”, “too white”. So go get out there and vote for the best Candidate!!!

My impressions
