Many are quite funny, but it is also important to keep in mind that though it is fun to joke about how the end of the world didn’t come today, that this world will not last forever. We may not see the apocalypse in our life times, but we will all face judgement someday when we have completed our journey upon this world. On a day, which no one knows, God will Come again and the world will be judged. For this reason, I think the one about the boy who cried wolf is probably the most fitting, let’s not pretend that we can somehow know the when that day will be, but let’s never forget that it will be someday.
