Scientist say that corn based fuel products may propell our cars in the future. Well, now Wal-Mart believes corn based eye wear will propell our vision into the future. In an tactic I call, hippie fishing, Wal-Mart has stocked 100% eco-friendly sunglasses. These glasses are hip, stylish, and full of crap, in the recycled variety of course.
But what is the advantage of this flower power? According to the display, all parts of the glasses produced by StyleScience are Earth First.

. . . frames are moade from NatureWorks PLA, a natural plastic made from 100% corn. . . metal frmes are constructed from recycled alloy which helps save precious resorces. . .lenses are made from recycled plastic.

The tagline for this product is “Look good. Naturally.” However, I wonder how helpful it is to nature to mold some cob into a stylish blob. How many resources do we save on lenses? The metal in the frames weighs a couple of ounces. Is it really worth it to use recycled metal? In the long run products such as this may be a solution, however for the immediate problem being adressed by the manufacture of these glasses another solution is needed. The manufacturer of this product is looking to make a little more money for a struggling company on a small time, cheap product. This does no do much for the enviornment. What America needs is large scale recycling. Awareness and active conservation across all private and public organizations is the key to the future. We need to start by recycling old building materials, our trash, and hopefully every single part of our life. This ploy to make a few bucks only hurts the cause towards enviornmantally friendly processes.

Did Terrell Owens overdose on drugs? This was a major national news event of the day; so much so that they interrupted coverage to bring us the TO news conference. Why everyone is so concerned about TO’s health while there are plenty of people out there overdosing on drugs ever day should be the real story. We have troops in Iraq dying almost daily, although we hear about them briefly on the news the troops receive no where near the same kind of attention that we give TO and many other sports and movie stars. Why is that? Why do we care so much about what is going on in TO’s life and not in the lives of our families and in the lives of people who are making real sacrifices for this country. We are just feeding TO’s ego and encouraging him to do crazy things by giving him exactly what he wants more publicity and fame. I say who cares if TO overdosed or had an allergic reaction, not that we shouldn’t care at all about this man; I say lets worry more about our families and the real heroes instead of building TO into some sort of sports god.

Did TO overdose it is entirely possible; although hydrocortisone can cause allergic reactions; the way he talked about it did not indicate that the hydocortisone is what caused the reaction, but that mixed with pain killers with other “natural” supplements, sounds strange to say the least.

Again we can speculate all we want, but what real concern is this to us? Are we really worried about Terrell Owens as person or because of the enjoyment we get from seeing his performance on the field or on a fantasy football team? If this is the case then It should be very little cocern if any, so lets stop living vicariously through these athletes, lets actually worry about the people who we can interact with and can communicate with, if we have not access or an experiential way of interacting with these people what good are we doing by worrying about them lets stop pretending like these people are a part of our lives, we have family and friends to worry about, if we should happen to cross paths in real life with one of these individuals then lets have concern for them, but until then then why allow ourselves to become emotional involved in these peoples lives. The world would be a lot better if we instead worry more about people whom we have interaction with in a personal way and experiential way.

My friend was checking his e-mail on yahoo and he got slammed in the face by this. Apparently she was a line judge at a Brazilian track and field competition, oh yeah, and she doesn’t know how to get out of the way of a javelin.

On this past Fox News Sunday former president Bill Clinton tried to take on Fox and lost, miserably, which explains why so many other left wingers are afraid to go on Fox if a former president can’t even keep himself in control through a simple interview without even being drilled on hard topics what hope do others on the left who hold indefensible stances have. The only other possibility that that could really be theorize, for why the former president lost his cool, would be that he is now working for the right and wants to make the left coming off looking bad, which really makes no sense. In addition, from listen to the dialogue from Mr. Wallace after, it appears that Mr. Clinton was instructed by his press secretary to end the interview when he start getting out of control, but ignored the sensable advise, and afterwards yelled at his staff for putting him that mouse trap or something to that affect. Way to go Fox, it is not every day that you get to expose the true character of a man who was loved by millions in his day and still probably is.

What can be said about this interview between former president Bill Clinton and Fox News anchor Chris Wallace except it was well crazy. It started off normal enough, but for the last half or so Mr. Clinton just lost it on Chris Wallace and Mr. Clinton just went off spieling out how all the evils of Republicans, this was a very partisan view presented by Mr. Clinton. Mr. Clinton constantly attacked the Republican party and the right wing view point of view. In addition, Mr. Clinton talked down to Mr. Wallace during most of the interview, and just came off as an egomaniac, to be kind. You can observe in the above picture of the fox news interview it looks like Chris Wallace has that smirk on his face which Mr. Clinton instructed him to slap off of his face after he asked him a question, which I think was about Bin Laden or something that he obvious didn’t like very much as you will see in the below pictures. If you don’t believe that he lost his cool just check out the pictures below, Mr. Clinton looks like he is about ready to start a boxing match with Mr. Wallace in the picture immediately below.

Again in the picture below you can see Mr. Clinton, and as I know I have been taught in the security business pointing at someone like that is just something you never do because it is a show of aggression. Mr. Clinton should have known better.

After watching this interview, I just wonder how we ever survived with Mr. Clinton in office for 8 long years, he belittled, shouted and pointed, all the types of things we are teaching our kindergartners not to do. This man was in the highest position of leadership of the free world and he acts like that, it is just ashamed.

I guess I was not alone in hating the Head On commercial. Head On has finally realized just how hated their commercial is and is now targeting those such as myself with their new version of the commercial. Head on now has a variety of new commercials which are all very similar, each commercial starts like the old one where for about a second, but before the first Head On repetition a man or woman pops on the screen and starts to mock the old Head On commercial, then proceeds to tell us how they hate Head On’s commercial, but love their product. I would like to say thank you to Head On for finally catching on that we hate your commercial, but your still have not redeemed yourself enough that I am going to buy your product, sorry head on the torture has been too much. It is just too little too late.

What do aliens do when they go to the beach. Well hypothetically, if they were mega giants they would be playing with the newly discovered planet HAT-P-1. This planet is huge and puffy, it would be inhabited by Furbies, if Furbies escaped from Earth in a spaceship. In fact this planet is less dense than water. Theoretically earthlings could use it as a beach ball, or well a race of Paul Bunions multiplied to a power of 10.

This planet is the largest of the planets astronomers have discovered in other solar systems. In fact this planet has created a whole new classification for planets. Apparently cosmic puffs is more than a cereal.

These immortal words live the hearts of all great Americans, well just plain great people in general. I actually found the song and lyrics on “Die Deutsche (German) Fansite zu King of Queens.” Everybody love Doug, Carrie and Arthur, unless you’re not a person of course.

However, a great tragedy had befallen the wonderful people of this planet I like to call Earth. King of Queens has disappeared. On the night of Monday September 18 around, lets say 7:58 pm, I was lying on my couch half asleep from Jeopardy, and half awake from a bowl of ice cream in my mouth. And in the daze I call life, I realized that it was almost 8:00 and my best friend was about to join me. Everything after that was a blur, all I remember is that by 8:01 I was on the floor crying.

Apparently the King of Queens was not coming on that night. CBS had decided to air a piece of trash they call the Class. A little piece of me died that night, and I blame the ba@!*#ds at CBS for show slaughter in the first degree. They knew what they were doing, they didn’t care about our country, our passion, our lives.

However there is good news. The heads of CBS have decided to go into rehab in November, and new episodes of King of Queens are expected some time in January. Until then I shall shed a single tear at 8:00 every Monday night, for the only great thing left in this world.

Steve Irwin (1962)-(2006)

Labor day was somewhat of a somber day as the beloved Steve Irwin ( the Crocodile Hunter) died. He was killed by the piercing of a stingrays stinger into his heart. He was filming a special for his daughters 9th birthday off the the great barrier reef in Australia. Friends and co-workers watched as the Australian Icon was pierced by the stingray and the emergency immediately called. He was later pronounced dead although he possibly died right as he was stung.

Steve Irwin is a sad pass for many. He was an Australian TV star and a conversationalist. He had a long running series on the discovery and animal planet channels called “crocodile hunter”. In 2002 he then released his own crocodile hunter. Memorabilia would also be made about Steve Irwin. He was also a zoologist and an overall beloved character. We will miss him surely.
