Wow this is one weird creature.

furry lobster

  • photo from CNN.com
  • I happened by this thing on CNN.com and apparently it was found in the South Pacific by some French drivers. It is so different form any normal lobster or crustacean that they even created a new family and genus for it. OK I know what your thinking right now; that this is some kind of joke, but it is not, this thing is real! This creature is 5.9 inches long, white, and blind they say and it they name it a Kiwaida after Kiwa the Polynesian goddess of crustaceans.

Wow the more I read about this the more discussed I become with Muslims and their intolerance, and with Americans that claim to be Christians and even though they are pagans and know it. These Muslims have this irrational hatred for Christianity. Although Americans are somewhat to blame, because many consider themselves Christians and certainly do not live it. I believe the greater evil are these Muslims who are totally committed to killing the Christian and Jew although if you talk to an Imam ( equivalent to a Christian pastor or priest) they will never admit it and will say that Jihad is actually an inward battle and that Muslims are not supposed to be violent; it is a lie. Here is proof out of the mouth of a member of the Afghan supreme court.

“The Quran is very clear, and the words of our prophet are very clear. There can only be one outcome: death,” said cleric Khoja Ahmad Sediqi, who is also a member of the Supreme Court. CNN.com

That is not peacefully religion, as Mr. Ahmad said the words of their prophet are “…very clear. There can only be one outcome: death,” That does not sound like a peaceful or tolerant religion to me. That sounds just like something Osama Bin Laden would say, but it is not it is from the mouth of a man we helped put in power.

Now I must confess this country does send a bad message to them, but the Muslims, especially one sitting on the Afghan supreme court should be smart enough to see that most of these people are not Christians and that America is not a Christian nation any longer. Muslims if they have any sense should not look at the corruption in this nation and see that it is Christians, for example no one who is proud to be homosexual, bi-sexual or anything like that is a Christian. In addition, the Hollywood culture that many Muslims might see as representing America is not Christian, they go against all Christian values and in fact represent the worst of America society. Why Muslims can not see this I do not know, maybe they are brainwashed or just refuse to believe that Christians are good people, or maybe they do not care. Whatever the case is, one thing is clear must Muslims, especially the ones in the middle East, to not care to try and understand what a true Christian is; they just want to shot first and ask questions later.

One thing is for sure that Afghan convert is a true Christian, and he is and is willing to die for it.

“I am serene. I have full awareness of what I have chosen. If I must die, I will die,” Rahman told the Rome daily La Repubblica, which did not interview him directly but sent him questions through a human rights worker who visited him at a rundown central Kabul detention facility. CNN.com

This man is no apostasy, as the Muslims are calling him, he is a soon to be mrytar.
Maybe the Christians here in the US can learn form this mans example and be a little more authentic. If Christians here in the US had to face death for their belief it would become much more clear that America is not a Christian nations. Maybe freedom of religion has made too many Christian soft, and unwilling to stand up for what they believe in. As has been said, the Church was bulit on the blood of the mrytars.

“Somebody, a long time ago, did it for all of us,” he added in a clear reference to Jesus.CNN.com

It has now come out that Russia gave Saddam information about our troop movement in Iraq, during the opening days of the war in 2003. This was apparently done through the Russian ambassador in Baghdad, however the specifics of exactly how this was done are still classified. Those who reads my blog may know that I predicted Russia will once again be an enemy, or we will change our view to be more in line with theirs. Either way nothing good is currently coming out of Russia, and they have only been a problem lately. We must keep a very close eye on Russia, they are too close to these terrorist organizations and have a great deal of weaponry and weapons knowledge that has and continues to leak out of their.

Well it appears we have wasted many lives liberating Afghanistan for no good reason. We freed them and now they are back oppressing people. They are now tiring a Christian who converted from from Islam, apparently it is part of Islam law that they have to kill this man for converting to Christianity. Death is one of the punishments stipulated by Sharia, or Islamic law, for apostasy. The Afghan legal system is based on a mix of civil and sharia law. So the man is on trial for his life because he became a Christian in a free country, go figure, even the constitution of Afghanistan says that they follow the UN humanity codes which guarantee freedom of religion. They however do not care about what their constitution says, it is only about Islam law because they are an Islamic country.

“We in Afghanistan have the prosecutor who observes the law and the court that executes it. Whatever the court orders will be executed as the court is independent,” said Mahaiuddin Baluch, a religious affairs adviser to President Hamid Karzai.

Thank God this man is willing to stand up for his belief and proclaim Jesus; although his lawyer want to use an insanity defense because of it, which basically is saying anyone willing to die for Jesus is insane. This is what I have been saying all along that these Muslim are not to be trusted they are a violent people, and will kill anyone that does not agree with their beliefs. This is an absolute outrage that they are doing this and really brings into question why we even bothered to help them establish a new government. This really brings into question what will happen in Iraq too. .

Bush said in Wheeling, West Virginia: “It is deeply troubling that a country we helped liberate would hold a person to account because they chose a particular religion over another.”

“We have got influence in Afghanistan and we are going to use it to remind them that there are universal values,” he said.

    blu ray

Which will it be, Blu Ray or HD DVD? Blu Ray is coming out here soon in the next month I believe and will run around $1,000 for a player. For those of you who do not know Blu Ray and HD DVD are the next generation of DVDs they will hold much more on a disc. Blu Ray promises to hold 25 GB on a disc and 50 GB for a two sided disc, as where HD DVD is suppose to hold about 15 GBs a side, so only 30 GB on the two sided. The current DVDs can only hold about 4.7 GBs on a side. So that is obviously a substantial improvement. How they do this you ask? They use a blue laser instead of the standard red laser. See if you remeber since class there are all these colors in the rainbow which and if you remeber what a rainbow looks like blue or violet, to be more specific, is on the bottom as where red is on the top. This can be seen in the picture below.

    rainbow

Unfortunately the bend of the rainbow can not be seen in that picture, but as any one who has seen a rainbow know the blue is shorter and on the inside of the bow. Consequently the laser on these new DVDs players will have a short wave length and therefore be narrower and able to read more lines of information on the DVDs. Eventually they want to increase the layer on the DVDs, which will allow virtually unlimited storage they are working on a 100GB one for next year and who knows maybe a 1TB one in the next several years. Anyhow the only problem is there are these two different designs the Blu Ray by Sony, which will also be used in the new PS3s coming out in November. Then there is the HD DVD which I believe is by Toshiba. I imagine there will be more brands using these technologies as time goes on I know companies like Dell will have the Blu in their computers this summer, but I do not recall what other companies are planning to use which. Anyhow this will be interesting to see which one wins, right now my money is on the Blu Ray, but that might change. Because it looks like the HD DVD is going for cheaper. In fact half the price on Amazon $500 where you can preorder either one now.

OLEDs hold great promise for the future of computer screens, TV and displays on portable devices. OLED stands for organic light emitting diode, which is actually similar to the LED used in many modern flash lights today, except the process of putting these light emitting diodes into TV displays is obviously radically different than that of putting them into flash light. They need to be grouped in large amounts, hence they use what is called luminophore which is basically an atom or atomic grouping in an organic compound. In is obviously much more complicated than just that, but that is the basic idea. With these organic compounds and LEDs that produce light without back lighting the display, see LCDs must have a backlight to see anything, but an LED, as it’s name implies, emits it’s own light. Therefore OLEDs use much less power and can even be viewed in direct sunlight and better from different angles becase they of the fact emit thier own light, and do not need a backlight. Just Imagine, taking your laptop outside on a bright sunny day and being able to see the display no problem! OLEDs get better still; they can be printed on essentially any ink-jet printer, so they will be cheaper to make, will be much more flexible, and may even be employed on clothing and could be used to produce roll up monitors. This technology is however not without it’s downsides, such as short life of around a 1,000 hours and the high potential for water damage unless the screen is sealed. I believe with continued research and development these downsides will be easily overcome, and OLEDs will be the future of electronic displays.

This is a Samsung TV using their latest OLED screen of 40″, a resolution of 1280×800 (WXGA), a contrast ratio of 5000:1 and a very limited thickness, and was unveiled last year.

As many of you already know the ports deal was killed about a week ago. This decision is kind of a bitter sweet victory, but I believe this will prove to be the right decision, although I do think we should have taken the whole 45 day review period before killing the deal. However lets make sure we do not put port security on the back burner now; lets use this as an opportunity to look into how our ports are run and beef up the security at our ports. If we do not take advantage of this heighten public awareness of our port insecurity then we might as well have let the UAE take over. The work has really just begun on port security; lets now buckle down and make sure we do port security right. The UAE is not a country we wanted running our ports, they have had linked to terrorism with two of the 9/11 hijackers coming out of the UAE, they recognized and supported the Taliban, and have had a long friendship with Bin Laden. Which is why we did not kill him in 1999 when we had the chance because we were worried about killing a prince from of the UAE’s royal family. We would have attacked Bin Laden with cruise missiles and probably killed him, except we ID-ed a UAE airplane in the area. So our fear of offending these people is what led to us being attacked in the first place, it is absolutly amazing.

Want to know the the real reason why so many are worried about offending these people through rejecting this deal? It is because they are filthy rich. If they were a poor country that had links to terrorism no one would be having a second though about this deal falling though, but the fact is they are an extremely rich country and we are worried they will invest all their money elsewhere. They are in fact so rich they just recently built an indoor 25 story ski resort in the middle of the desert (with a bob sled run too). They build this thing inside of some mall or something, now I do have to admit this thing is pretty cool, but not cool enough to gain my support for the UAE controlling our ports, see the top bunch of pictures. They have an incredible 7 star hotel in the shape of a sail, see the bottom three pictures. They are currently working on many more luxury resorts such as, a bunch of man made islands in the shape of the world, another bunch in the shape of a palm, some crazy cool looking tulip shaped tower, and have attracted investors like Donald Trump, who is building the tulip tower and palm shaped Islands. Hence the real reason people are upset that we prevented them from controlling the ports is the fact that they have all this money we want them to continue to share their resources with us. In short we worry too much about offending these people because we want there money and there port of Dubai for our Naval ships in the area, not because they are helping a great deal in the war on terror. These people are against our Allie Israel, and have been supporting Hamas. Even though Israel does not have all the money they have; if we must choice who is more important it ought to be Israel. I hope we have enough sense not to choice allies based on how much money and oil they have.

I have been reading more about Iran and their nuclear program and apparently they are very close to having a bomb. Whats more I found out they have been working on this for a while now, since between 1989 and 1991 when A. Q. Khan started giving them drawing and components of gas centrifuges. Iran is now through to be at just about the point of having a nuclear bomb. It they do not have a bomb by now they are almost certainly in the last stages of development, either 4 or 5, but may be having some problems. Nonetheless it is absolutely incredible the we have let them get that far. The process should have never even begun in Iran, but we have be ignoring them all this time and allowed them to obtain secrets of nuclear secrets. Apparently the process is this:

1.Get Uranium-Mind it mill it or get it given to you form another country, then soak it with sulfuric acid to leach out the more pure uranium

2.Make yellowcake-apparently they dry it then filter it into this powder that call yellowcake

3.Cook it- they put the uranium in with some fluoride gas heat to 133 degrees F and make it into uranium hexafluoride.

4.Spin it really fast- they spin it in a centrifuge at the speed of sound to sperate the out the unwanted U-238 on the outsides and allow the desirable and more fissionable U-235 to collect in the center.

5.Contiue-Spinning it until through a line of well over a thousand centrifuges until it reaches weapons grade of 90% pure. Interestingly enough only 20% pure uranium is called highly enriched, so weapons grade is super super enriched uranium.

6.Make it into powder again-they make the uranium into a uranium oxide and then mold into into a sphere which can weight up to 100 pounds usually, but only 40 or so is plenty. Then they place the nuclear warhead in the weapon and are in business.

How in the world we have allowed them to get down around stage 5 probably either spinning it or working out problems with their spinning. So now is the time to act. The author of the book I am reading seems to think that the time frame will be between April and September of this year, even though indications are they are still talking with Russia over a deal on enriched Uranium, although I believe they are now be forthright, and want Russia to help them develop some uranium in their country so they can secretly use it for warheads. We gave Israel the necessary weapons last year so they are more than likely ready to do something maybe even as early as next month here, depending upon what their intelligence is telling them, more than likely something drastic will have to be done before years end.

In addition, to Iran to worry about it has become clear that Russia is another country that we must worry about once again. I think too many people have this notion that Russia is our friend, and while that may be true to some extent, they are not a very good friend especially since they invited Hamas over, and are will more than likely be support Hamas. They have done this even though they know that we do not recognize Hamas as a legitimate government authority and will not unless they will recognize Israel’s right to a peaceful existence, and denounce terror. Hamas, so far, seems to have made it clear they will not negotiate with Israel, therefore how can we negotiate with them. We must keep our eyes on Russia though they are very dangerous especially since they are very loose with much old Soviet weaponry and knowledge, they have allowed far too much into the hands of terrorist already, and they seem to be poised to try and make some sort of a reappearance on the scene as a world power once again. Russia can and more than likely will be a large problem once again.
